DATUM Stiftung

The foundation behind DATUM needed its own site. Reusing the stack from the magazine — Bedrock, Sage, Acorn and Vite — meant the shared parts came for free, and the work could concentrate on the two things that were genuinely new.

Multilingual content. WPML across the whole site, including the parts that aren’t posts: navigation, forms, and the strings buried in the theme.

Donations. A Mollie-backed form handling both one-off donations and recurring subscriptions, which is where most of the complexity lives — mandates, failed renewals, and giving donors a way to see and stop what they signed up for.
