The Long Night of Museums is the ORF’s annual event where hundreds of museums across Austria open their doors until after midnight. The site is a programme listing that most people open on a phone, outdoors, while deciding where to go next.
That framed the relaunch: mobile-first rather than mobile-adapted, on a responsive theme built with Foundation and Sass on top of the existing TYPO3 installation. The listing and filtering had to stay usable at the smallest breakpoint first, with the desktop layout as the addition rather than the baseline.
